Aracá State Park

Serra do Aracá State Park is a huge conservation area located further north at Amazonas state, within Venezuela border. It is one of the most unreacheable places on earth, and hosts the higher brazilian waterfall: the El Dorado, with more than 353 m heighs. Surrounded by pristine rainforests and high-altitude grasslands in the upper parts, Aracá remains untouched by humans. Surrounded by several table- moutains known as tepuys, this region in pointed out by scientist as one the the most biological diverse in the world. Even indigenous live over there, and the access without the support of a helicopter is quite complicated. Altough all the dificulties, visit this area was a great opportunity to explore the biological jewels of Amazonia Highlands.
