CONSERVATION PHOTOGRAPHER
ABOUT ME
Nature and its phenomenons have always intrigued me, since I a was a child. During my boyhood pastime of bushwalkings and field trips to wild areas throughout Brazil, I watched aroused on me a great passion for natural sciences and biodiversity. Traveling to some of
the most pristine regions of South America (greatly encourage by the stories I have read about the great explorers who firstly scientific investigated the Neotropical region), I realise that understand and observe wildlife in stunning landscapes would became my lifelong goal.
Nowadays, as a conservation biologist who work with plant conservation since 2008, I´m in an attempt to translate conservation science into compelling visual messages, in order to spreadout some outcames of the work carried by professionals involved with Conservation Biology subjects. The main goal of this website its to disclose some knowledge that I earned in the past 7 years travelling and photographing in Brazil and other countries around the
globe, part as a member of the Brazilian National Centre for Plant Conservation (CNCFlora - www.cncflora.jbrj.gov.br) and part by myself.
